ABOUT THE SHOW

Welcome to
​Camp Faraway!
Fifteen teens travel to Naples, Maine, to spend the summer at Camp Faraway. They bring their unique life experiences as they learn to live together and discover they might have much more in common than they thought.

Faraway is written by McClure Theater Company alumnus, Jake Daniels. It made its debut performance last summer; this production marks the first time our company has produced such an exciting new show.

It also marks the first time that student directors have assisted our creative team in bringing the show to life.

McClure Theater Company

Our company is an extra curricular organization at McClure Middle School.  We produce a musical each year, typically in February.  Auditions and rehearsals begin in mid August.  Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30. Additionally, there are several Saturday rehearsals spread throughout the year. Our cast & crew are large, usually numbering between 75 & 100 students.  Auditions are open to all McClure students. In addition to the annual musical, we might also have a smaller, dramatic production late in the school year.
